Gavin Reay - inventor of litecup

Gavin is a Product Designer with nearly 30 years’ experience. After training at the prestigious Royal College of Art and Central St. Martins, he started his own consultancy, And Design, in Putney.

As a father of four boys aged between then aged between 6 and 14, it’s easy to see how litecup was born – out of sheer necessity! Tired of being woken up at night, he wanted product that meant the boys could easily find their bedside drinks - without knocking them over or spilling.

As well as starting his own one-man baby boom, Gavin plays tennis, a little less well than he’d like to. He enjoys solving problems too. Luckily, he gets to do one of these things every day (not the tennis, unfortunately), using innovative design-led solutions to create everyday products to enhance living.

The üutensil range of kitchen products is another great example. You’ll see a totally new and surprising way to mash potatoes, stir sauces and crush spices. Why not take a look?

Helen Armon-Jones - head of marketing

Helen is the mother of two mini sticks of dynamite – who are addicted to their litecups. Parenting by chaos and sheer survival instinct, she also writes a blog, runs a book club and maintains a healthy addiction to penny sweets, even though they haven't cost a penny since 1985.

Helen has looked after the marketing for national retail chains, charities and glossy magazines. But she but took one look at litecup and hung up her coat. Helen loves the buzz of social media, so why not say hello on our instagramfacebook and twitter pages? She’d love to hear from you.

Paul Stet & Jack Darby- industrial designers

Paul is from Romania and spends a lot of time moaning about the low budget airlines that fly him back home for visits. a sugar fiend he tends to lead the office astray with pastry based products.

Jack travels miles to get to litecup HQ and seems to survive on herbal teas alone. he's the design whizz who's putting the finishing touches to the baby cup version of litecup.
